Our mission is to help students who have missed learning opportunities and social connections during school closures. The goal of the program is to provide children with much needed social interaction with other children and to support the School District’s online learning curriculum.

Summit 54 previously hosted Summer Success, an outdoor tutoring program from June 22 - July 23, 2020 — with 22 unique outdoor tutoring locations in Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs parks.

With careful adherence to our Social Distancing Business Plan all of our 47 educators and nearly 200 students remained COVID-19 free during the five-week program. The opportunity for students to have social interaction, get out of the house, and receive academic support was lauded by teachers, parents, and students.
