Free After-School Tutoring
Summit54 is currently in its 5th year providing FREE After-School Small Group Tutoring for elementary students in the Roaring Fork School District.
Students in the After-School Tutoring program receive one hour of tutoring immediately after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The sessions take place in Carbondale, Basalt, and Glenwood Springs, ensuring accessibility for the students within their own school communities.
The program accommodates the needs of students throughout the academic year, offering Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions. While some students eagerly participate in all three sessions, others find success in one or two sessions, benefiting from tailored instruction every step of the way.
It is common for affluent families to hire private tutors to help their children succeed. The families Summit54 serves do not have the means to do so. By offering free tutoring, Summit54 helps bridge the gap to ensure that all students have the support they need to succeed academically.
Our licensed teachers, who are essential in delivering these free sessions, are paid $65/one hour session by Summit54. The extra income helps many of our exceptional teachers afford the high cost of living in the Roaring Fork Valley.
